Clutched PTO with SAE B Flange PRM MT0528 Clutched power take off unit for PRM 1000 marine gearboxes. Designed for SAE B pumps. A change in the valve block occurred for PRM gearboxes on September 8th 2004, when PRM Marine started fitting the 'soft shift' valve block as standard. This 'soft shift' valve block cannot however be used with a PRM Clutched PTO, as the pressure drop in neutral would cause a loss of the PTO drive or the PTO clutches to slip. This is the reason why the older PRM PTO unit (MT0205) could be bought on it's own. This flexible coupling consists of a contoured flexible disc moulded in tough yet resilient new type Polyester Elastomer.
